This Week’s Picks – June 1

Amber Brewery Beer

This week’s picks include 4 distinct beers from Amber Brewery in Poland. The Grand Imperial Porter, Johannes, Kozlak and Amber Wheat. The Grand Imperial Porter is a dark porter with an aroma of molasses and a sweet taste. Johannes is a beer with a full and mature bouquet. It has a mild bitter and strong malt flavor due to its long time of maturing and high level of extract. The Kozlack beer is a red amber bock that delivers a tasty balance of malt and caramel flavor. Lastly the Amber Wheat has an aroma of sweet wheat and clove with a sweet flavor that has hints of banana.

Palm Breeze Spritz

This week we are also featuring Palm Breeze Spritz in two delicious flavors. Palm Breeze is sparkling alcohol spritz. It comes in Ruby Red Citrus which is a crisp, refreshing grapefruit flavor and Pineapple Mandarin Orange which combines the taste of the the three tropical fruits. At only 4.5% alcohol by volume, these spritzers are great to sip all day during the summer months.

Hacienda Vieja Tequila

Lastly we are featuring 2 Hacienda Vieja Tequila, the Blanco and the Resposado. Hacienda Vieja which translates to “Old Ranch” is a Mexican tequila from Guadalajara. The Blanco is a full bodied tequila with a soft, smooth taste and a nose with notes of spicy citrus. Accompanied by an intensity of anis and spearmint. The Resposado is smooth and soft like its brother but, with a balance of agave and oak from the barrel with hints of clove, mint and caramel.
