There are two great wine tastings coming up this Easter weekend at Liquid Assets.
Friday, March 30 from 5-7PM will be a tasting of Bonterra Wine. Bonterra Vineyards have been farmed organically in California since 1987, long before organic products were widely available in America. The inspiration for farming this way was simple: organic grapes produce the purest expressions of the varietals and land on which they are farmed. The growers and winemakers at Bonterra have a deep respect for the environment. Organic farming and regenerative practices enrich the biodiversity of their vineyards year after year. Varietals to be sampled include Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Blanc.
Saturday, March 31 from 5-7PM will be a tasting of wine from Gooseneck Vineyards. Gooseneck Vineyards is a Rhode Island based company founded by local folks. The team at Gooseneck scours some of the world’s top winemaking regions to find winemakers with whom they can team up with to create quality wines at affordable prices. The Prosecco is from Veneto, the Pinot Grigio is made with grapes from Veneto but bottled in Piedmont, the Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon are from Spain and the Pinot Noir is from Oregon. All Gooseneck wines are currently sale priced at $10.99.
