Gran Passione Wines

On Friday June 1, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Liquid Assets we will be tasting the following:

Gran Passione Veneto Rosso Appassimento & Barbera d’Asti DOCG Superiore

Veneto Rosso Appassimento has an intense color. It is full bodied and rich with dark fruit flavors of blackberry and black cherry balanced by a solid structure due to elevated alcohol, acidity and tannins. It’s a great wine for roasted and grilled meats, stews and other rich dishes. Also excellent with mature hard cheeses.

Barbera d’Asti DOCG Superiore is round and balanced red, featuring black cherry, raspberry, spice and tobacco notes that offset the firm structure. Subtle oak adds further depth and complexity. A powerful and heady Piedmont Barbera, with good length.

Entwine Wines

Entwine Wines

Several years ago, the Food Network made the exciting announcement that it was partnering with Wente Vineyards to unveil entwine, a portfolio of California wines intended to inspire food lovers to dive into the vast and sometimes overwhelming world of wine with ease. The four varietals we will be tasting include include Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

James Oliver Whiskey

On Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 4:30-6:30 PM at Liquid Assets we will be tasting the following:

James Oliver Rye Whiskey

This rye whiskey is made from a mash of 100% rye grains, which are mashed and fermented before being distilled through a copper pot still. Following distillation, the whiskey is aged in new, American oak casks with a #4 char.

James Oliver American Whiskey

This is a blend of three different individual whiskies all aged separately in different types of barrels, 7-year-old Corn whiskey, 4-year-old whiskey, straight Rye whiskey. Finished and blended together in old sherry barrels for 6 months, James Oliver American Whiskey is a smooth satisfying sipper, or a unique spirit in any whiskey cocktail.
